Scope

Based on Article 13 of the Swiss Federal Constitution, data protection provisions of the federal government (Federal Data Protection Act, revised FADP), and the EU GDPR, every individual is entitled to the protection of their privacy and personal data against misuse.

The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the legal data protection regulations and this privacy statement. This privacy statement is intended to inform users of this website about the nature, scope, and purpose of the collection and use of personal data by the Global Values Alliance.

This website can generally be used without entering personal data. If personal data is processed, it will be done in accordance with the new Federal Data Protection Act (revised FADP) and the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Please be aware that data transmission over the internet can be subject to security vulnerabilities. Complete protection against third-party access is not feasible.

What Personal Data Do We Collect?

We process personal data (data that directly or indirectly identifies natural persons) that we have received from you or involved third parties in the context of our business relationship, or that we collect ourselves. This includes, in particular, your name, address, email address, phone numbers (landline and/or mobile), and, if necessary, your bank details and VAT submissions.

Personal data also includes information about your use of our website. In this context, we collect information about your visits to our website, usually through the use of log files and cookies. More information about log files and cookies can be found below.

For What Purpose Do We Collect Personal Data?

We use your personal data exclusively to provide the services you have requested.

Communication Channel

The website globalewerteallianz.ch contains information that allows for quick electronic contact and immediate communication, including a general email address. If you contact us through the communication channels provided on our website, your contact details and content will only be used to process and respond to your inquiry.

Please note: Confidential data should not be transmitted during this contact, as confidentiality cannot be guaranteed.

How Long Will Personal Data Be Retained?

We process and store your personal data as long as necessary for the fulfillment of our contractual and legal obligations, or for the purposes pursued with the processing, and beyond that, in accordance with legal retention and documentation obligations.

To Whom Do We Disclose Personal Data?

We do not disclose your personal data to third parties unless you have consented to the data transfer, or we are authorized or obligated to do so by law, or by official or judicial orders. This may include providing information for purposes of law enforcement, hazard prevention, or the enforcement of intellectual property rights.

What Rights Do You Have Regarding Your Data?

You have the right to obtain information about the origin, recipient, and purpose of your stored personal data free of charge at any time. You also have the right to request the correction, blocking, or deletion of this data. For this purpose, as well as for further questions regarding data protection, you can contact us at any time using the address mentioned above. Additionally, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

Right to Object to Data Collection in Special Cases and Direct Marketing (Art. 21 GDPR)

If data processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR, you have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to the processing of your personal data, including profiling based on those provisions. The respective legal basis on which processing is based can be found in this privacy statement. If you object, we will no longer process your affected personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims (objection pursuant to Art. 21(1) GDPR).

If your personal data is processed for direct marketing purposes, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data for such marketing, which includes profiling to the extent that it is related to such direct marketing. If you object, your personal data will subsequently no longer be used for direct marketing purposes (objection pursuant to Art. 21(2) GDPR).

Right to Lodge a Complaint with the Competent Supervisory Authority

In the event of violations of the Swiss Federal Data Protection Act (revDSG) or the General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO), data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, particularly in the member state of their habitual residence, place of work, or the location of the alleged infringement. The right to lodge a complaint exists without prejudice to other administrative or judicial remedies.

Right to Data Portability

You have the right to receive the data that we process based on your consent or in fulfillment of a contract in a common, machine-readable format, and to have it transmitted to yourself or another controller, where technically feasible. If you request the direct transfer of data to another controller, this will only be done to the extent that it is technically feasible.

SSL/TLS Encryption

This site uses SSL/TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries that you send to us as the site operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line. If SSL/TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Inquiries via Email and Telephone

If you contact us by email or telephone, your inquiry, including all resulting personal data (name, inquiry), will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of processing your request. We do not disclose this data without your consent.

The processing of this data is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, insofar as your inquiry is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) and/or on our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), as we have a legitimate interest in the effective processing of inquiries directed to us.

The data you send us via contact inquiries will remain with us until you request deletion, revoke your consent to storage, or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g., after completion of your request). Mandatory legal provisions – especially retention periods – remain unaffected.

Cookies

This website partially uses so-called cookies. Cookies do not harm your computer and do not contain viruses. They serve to make our offer more user-friendly, effective, and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.

Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies”. They are automatically deleted after your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit.

You can set your browser to inform you about the setting of cookies and allow cookies only in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of this website.

Server Log Files (Access Data)

This website is hosted by Cyon GmbH, Brunngässlein 12, 4052 Basel, Switzerland. In close cooperation with the hosting provider, we strive to protect the databases as much as possible from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or falsification. When accessing our websites, the following data is stored in log files: IP address, date, time, browser request, and general information transmitted about the operating system or browser. This usage data forms the basis for statistical, anonymous evaluations, enabling us to identify trends by which we can improve our offerings accordingly.

Services of Third Parties

We use services from specialized third parties to carry out our activities and tasks permanently, user-friendly, securely, and reliably. With such services, we can embed functions and content into our website, among other things. When embedding such services, the used services capture at least temporarily the internet protocol (IP) addresses of the users for technical reasons.

For necessary security-related, statistical, and technical purposes, third parties whose services we use may process data related to our activities and tasks in an aggregated, anonymized, or pseudonymized manner. This includes, for example, performance or usage data to be able to offer the respective service.

OpenStreetMap

This website contains a map (Contact) provided by the OpenStreetMap Foundation, 132 Maney Hill Road, Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands, B72 1JU, United Kingdom.

OpenStreetMap is an open-source mapping tool. The integration of the map on our website is done by means of an iframe or by retrieving the so-called tiles (map images) from the provider’s server. As a result, your IP address is transmitted to the OpenStreetMap server. Furthermore, a session cookie is set (information about cookies can be found above in this privacy statement).

When integrating the map data, we rely on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, meaning that as a website operator, we have a legitimate interest in improving the user-friendliness of our website.

Google Fonts

This website uses external fonts, known as Google Fonts, which is a service provided by Google. The incorporation of these web fonts is achieved through a server request, usually to a Google server in the USA. This process transmits to the server which of our web pages you have visited. Also, Google stores the IP address of the visitor’s device browser. For more information, you can refer to Google’s privacy policy here:: https://policies.google.com/privacy
